A mid-summer traverse of the Western Arthurs delivered that rare blend of clarity and challenge. Blue-sky slipped into veils of cloud, wrapping the range in light that begged to be captured. The ridges tested lungs and nerve, yet each hard-won metre felt like an initiation into something elemental. I left with legs humming and a quiet promise to return.
